Overview:
The CFI-JELF Matching Fund is a part of ResearchNB’s Infrastructure Support pillar and aims to support those who have received CFI-JELF funding.
ResearchNB’s contribution for successful applications will be up to 40% of the value of the project, whereas the other 40% comes from the CFI and the final 20% from other sources.
The maximum request is tied to 40% of the total project value calculation, and the timelines for the award are project-specific.
Researchers submitting applications to CFI-JELF are required to complete an Expression of Interest before submission to the CFI-JELF on our application portal. Expression of Interest reviews will be held 3 times a year to align with priority sectors and ResearchNB’s capacity to fund. ResearchNB's goal is to align our review process with CFI-JELF to ensure timely approval of funding requests.
