2023 Health Research and Innovation Changemaker Award

HEALTH RESEARCH LEADS TO BETTER HEALTHCARE

During a given year, the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation (NBHRF) celebrates health researchers for their achievements and contributions in health research and innovation. This could not be done without a strong team.

The NBHRF promotes, coordinates and supports health research and innovation in the province. Over the years, we have celebrated the accomplishments of new, established, student and clinician investigators as well as research teams and mentors throughout New Brunswick. In 2023, we look to celebrate a New Brunswick researcher in academia, a public research institution, government, or the private sector, whose research has benefited New Brunswickers by tangibly improving the economy, environment, healthcare system, or society. The recipient’s work has developed in response to the health needs of society, and is solving a problem, managing a risk, or creating an opportunity for New Brunswickers. We look to celebrate New Brunswick’s health research and innovation changemakers.

Once a month, from January 2023 to October 2023, one changemaker will be selected from the pool of candidates to be highlighted by the NBHRF.

Winners will be showcased online, on the NBHRF website, and in the monthly NBHRF eNewsletter.

A Changemaker of the Year will be selected and named during the annual Health Research Week Event.
